""in the airplane"" 和 ""on the airplane"" 的差別在哪裡?
I disagree with the answer posted here. An example to counter said answers would be "Get in the taxi." A Taxi is a form of public transportation, yet you would never say "Get on the taxi.", as saying that would imply that you would literally be climbing on top of the taxi.
In terms of airplanes, both "Get in the airplane." and "Get on the airplane." are two different ways of saying the same thing.
It might have more to do with the size of said vehicle, though I'm not entirely sure myself, it also depends on whether or not you can actually ride inside of said vehicle. Here are some more example sentences with this phrase.
"Get on the bus."
"Get in the taxi."
"Get on the blimp."
"Get in the submarine."
"Get in the tank." (Tank, as in the vehicle.)
"Get on your bike." (There is no "inside", therefore you could never be "in" the bike."
"Get on the boat". There is also an exception here, as you can also say "Get in the boat."
